Indulgent Nutella™ cheesecake bars disappear quickly among fans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • Vegetable oil, water and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Chopped toasted hazelnuts, miniature white or semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and lightly spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine the Crust ingredients in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Transfer the pan to a cooling rack and let it cool for 10 minutes before proceeding.
  • Cream together cream cheese and granulated sugar in a medium bowl using an electric mixer until smooth, scraping down sides of the bowl regularly. Mix in hazelnut spread. Add eggs one at a time, blending just until combined. Stir in 2 tablespoons cream and vanilla. Spread the mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Let it cool on a rack for 30 minutes. In a 2-quart saucepan, melt chocolate chips and 1/2 cup whipping cream on low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour topping over filling, sprinkle with nuts or candy, then refrigerate for about 2 hours until completely cooled. Slice into 8 by 3 rows.
