Orange Ginger Bread

Orange gingerbread made in a bread machine, perfect with chocolate syrup or hazelnut spread.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons active dry yeast
Instructions:
  • Add the ingredients into the bread machine following the manufacturer's instructions. Choose the Dough cycle and start the machine.
  • Once the machine signals, take out the dough and shape it into a loaf. Put it in a 9x5 inch bread pan and allow it to rise until doubled or until a light finger press leaves a dent in the dough.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the bread until rich golden brown, about 25 minutes.
