Barilla proudly presents a delicious pasta dish.
Ingredients:
  • 350g ‘La Collezione’ Orecchiette pasta
  • 1 jar Olive sauce
  • 1/2 onion, roughly chopped
  • 10 leaves of fresh parsley, roughly chopped
  • 2 Italian sausages, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 8 tinned artichokes pieces, cut into quarters
  • 82.50 gm white wine
  • 50g Grana Padano cheese, grated
  • 75.08 gm Extra Virgin olive oil
  • Rock salt
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, bring ample water to a rolling boil. Add 7g of rock salt per litre of water once it reaches a boil.
  • Add the Barilla Orecchiette to the boiling water, gently stir, and cook as per package directions.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet until hot, then caramelize onions on low heat. Add sausage and cook for 2-3 minutes before incorporating artichokes and wine.
  • Pour in the rich and flavorful Barilla Olive sauce and let it simmer for a minute.
  • Cook pasta until 1 minute before al dente. Toss pasta in sauce for 1 more minute. Add Grana Padano and parsley, then serve with a drizzle of oil.
