Quick and delicious main dish made with only six ingredients in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 500g pkt Golden Pasta Potato Gnocchi
  • 150g butter
  • 250g Swiss brown mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved
  • 82.50 ml fresh sage leaves
  • Shaved parmesan, to serve
Instructions:
  • Cook the gnocchi in a large saucepan of salted boiling water according to package instructions until tender, then drain.
  • Heat a generous portion of butter in a frying pan until it's beautifully foaming. Throw in the mushrooms and garlic, stir and cook for 5 minutes until they are soft. Transfer everything to a heatproof bowl and say goodbye to the garlic by removing and tossing it away.
  • Use a paper towel to wipe the frying pan clean. Then, heat the remaining butter in the pan over medium heat until it foams. Add the gnocchi and sage, stirring occasionally, and cook for 5-8 minutes until the gnocchi and butter turn golden and the sage becomes crisp.
  • Transfer the mushrooms to the gnocchi mixture using a slotted spoon. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Spoon the gnocchi mixture into individual serving bowls. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
