Enjoy European-style coffee and brioche by dunking the toast in your big mug for a delicious experience.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 2cm-thick slices (about 160g) brioche, halved crossways
  • 375ml (1 1/2 cups) milk
  • 500ml (2 cups) freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • Demerara sugar, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Arrange the brioche in a single layer on a baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it is almost boiling.
  • Tear the brioche into big chunks.
  • Evenly distribute the coffee into mugs. Pour in the milk. Top with demerara sugar and enjoy with brioche.
