Get the kids involved in making a tasty passionfruit trifle for some kitchen fun!
Ingredients:
  • 140ml passionfruit pulp
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) hot water
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 8 sponge finger biscuits, cut in half crossways
  • 2 x 200g containers low-fat French-vanilla yoghurt (Vaalia brand)
Instructions:
  • In a jug, mix passionfruit, water, and sugar together until the sugar dissolves. Place half of the sponge fingers at the bottom of an 8 x 17cm loaf pan.
  • Drizzle one-third of the luscious passionfruit syrup onto the sponge fingers. Layer on half of the creamy yogurt. Add the rest of the sponge fingers and pour over half of the remaining passionfruit syrup. Finish with the remaining yogurt and drizzle over half of the syrup. Gently cover with foil and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • Take the trifle out of the fridge. Cut it into quarters and place each piece on a serving plate. Finally, drizzle the remaining syrup over the trifle pieces.
