Quick Italian pasta dish featuring sardine and Parmesan topping - a flavorful and easy meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 0.75 cup olive oil, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans sardines packed in olive oil, drained
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.33333331346512 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch additional Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
  • Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and mix with 1/4 cup olive oil. Keep warm.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat 1/4 cup olive oil. Sauté garlic until golden, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add sardines and cook for 1 more minute. Mix in bread crumbs and 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese. If needed, add the remaining 1/4 cup olive oil for a crumbly texture. Stir in parsley and pepper, then take the skillet off the heat.
  • Top spaghetti with sardine mixture and sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese for a flavorful finish.
