Pear, rhubarb and cottage cheese

Create a tasty pear and rhubarb mash for your kids with minimal effort.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pear, peeled, cored, quartered
  • 1 stalk rhubarb, , cut into 3cm pieces
  • 62.50 ml cottage cheese
Instructions:
  • Steam the pear in a basket over simmering water for 25-30 minutes, until very tender.
  • Toss rhubarb into the basket 5 minutes before cooking is done. Steam for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  • Combine the pear and rhubarb in a bowl, mashing them together with a fork. Gently fold in the cottage cheese until well mixed.
