Refreshing pineapple basil sorbet made with fresh fruit, herbs, juice, and sugar - a simple and easy frozen treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pineapple - peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Blend pineapple, sugar, juice, and basil until smooth. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour to chill.
  • Transfer the chilled mixture to an ice cream maker and churn as per the manufacturer's guidelines. Once churned, transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
