Pineapple upside-down cake

Ingredients:
  • 450g can sliced pineapple, drained
  • Red glace cherries, to decorate
  • 340g packet butter cake mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven as directed on the cake mix packet. Grease and line the base of a 20cm round cake tin.
  • Place the pineapple and cherries neatly on the bottom of the tin, making sure to adjust the pineapple pieces to fit the space.
  • Follow the cake mix instructions, add the pineapple, bake as directed, then cool on a wire rack.
