Make delicious homemade dog treats with beef, rice, eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, carrots, and celery baked in muffin cups for easy and convenient serving. Perfect for your furry friend!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups brown rice
  • 2 large potatoes, grated
  • 4 large carrots, grated
  • 2 large celery stalks, chopped
  • 6 pounds ground beef
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1.5 cups regular rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and generously grease 3 large muffin tins, making sure to coat 36 cups in total.
  • In a saucepan, bring water and rice to a boil. Cover, simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Let it cool slightly, then fluff with a fork. Set aside.
  • Combine potatoes, carrots, celery, ground beef, and eggs in a large bowl. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix everything together. Add salt, olive oil, rolled oats, and rice, then mix thoroughly.
  • Spoon the meat mixture into each muffin cup, pressing down to compact it. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is firm. Allow to cool on a rack for at least 10 minutes.
  • Invert the muffin tin over aluminum foil to release the meat cakes. Refrigerate or freeze in airtight bags. Remember: Allow cakes to cool before feeding dogs.
