Succulent chicken breast stuffed with savory sausage dressing. Delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 hot Italian sausage links, casings removed
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.75 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded thin
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until evenly browned. Be sure to drain excess grease.
  • Combine sausage with creamy cream cheese, bold Parmesan cheese, rich egg yolk, fragrant oregano, zesty garlic powder, and savory Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  • Divide the sausage mixture evenly among the chicken breasts. Fold the breasts over the filling and secure with toothpicks. Place them in the baking dish, then brush with butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs to coat.
  • Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until the juices run clear.
