Top-shelf brandy, tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice create a special Presidente Margarita.
Ingredients:
  • salt for rimming glass
  • 2 lime wedges, divided
  • 3 cubes ice, or as desired
  • 4 fluid ounces sweet-and-sour cocktail mix
  • 1.25 fluid ounces tequila
  • 0.5 fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
  • 0.5 fluid ounce brandy (such as Presidente®)
Instructions:
  • Spread a generous layer of salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a margarita glass; dip the rim into the salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Combine cocktail mix, tequila, orange liqueur, brandy, and juice from the remaining lime wedge in a cocktail shaker. Shake well, then strain into the prepared glass.
