Indulgent dessert perfect for Thanksgiving - a decadent twist on classic pumpkin pie.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (5 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar in an aluminum loaf pan over medium heat, being careful not to burn it. Place the pan in a large pot with 1 inch of water over medium heat.
  • In a blender, blend together the pumpkin pie filling, evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, and allspice until smooth. Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan.
  • Bake until a knife comes out clean, approximately 1 hour in a preheated oven. Chill for at least 3 hours, ideally overnight in the fridge.
  • Using a sharp knife, gently glide it along the edges of the loaf pan to loosen the flan. Carefully flip the pan onto a serving plate and gently tap to release the dessert.
