Savory ham and cheese quiche that can be prepped ahead for breakfast or brunch, and easily frozen for later.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust, frozen
  • 0.5 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pimento peppers
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine shredded cheese and flour in a medium bowl, then sprinkle the mixture over the frozen pie crust. Top with diced ham.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and dry mustard until smooth. Pour mixture over cheese and ham.
  • Cover the crust edges with foil to prevent burning.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour until the filling is set, the crust is golden brown, and a clean knife inserted into the center of the quiche.
  • Before presenting, adorn with fresh parsley and vibrant pimento peppers.
