Make Indian spiced tea at home with black tea, fennel, cardamom, and cloves for an authentic and aromatic experience.
Ingredients:
2cups water
1tablespoonfennel seed
4whole cloves, or more to taste
1.5 teaspoons cardamom seeds
2cups whole milk
4black tea bags, or more to taste
1tablespoonwhite sugar, or to taste
Instructions:
Bring a pot of water to a lively boil, then infuse with aromatic fennel, cloves, and cardamom. Maintain the vigorous boil for 3 minutes.
Combine milk with water and bring mixture back to a gentle boil. Drop in tea bags, lower heat, and simmer until the tea reaches a robust flavor without any bitterness, for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour tea through a strainer into 4 mugs, then sweeten each to your liking with sugar.
