Indulgent raspberry cream cheese French toast sticks - a fun and tasty brunch delight that's perfect for kids to join in making!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup raspberry puree
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch slices
  • butter
  • confectioners' sugar for dusting
  • nutmeg, for topping
Instructions:
  • Whisk milk, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon into beaten eggs until blended. Set aside. Cream raspberry puree and cream cheese until smooth. Make 'sandwiches' by spreading raspberry-cheese mixture between bread slices.
  • In a large skillet or griddle over medium heat, melt butter. Dip bread in egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Cook until golden on both sides, approximately 5 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and nutmeg. Serve hot.
