Savory keto egg casserole packed with breakfast sausage, sharp Cheddar cheese, and a hint of dry mustard. Perfect for quick and satisfying breakfasts on the go!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package breakfast sausage
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.75 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage while breaking it apart with a wooden spoon until it's browned and crumbly, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then, spread it evenly over the base of a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Combine eggs, sharp Cheddar cheese, cream, diced onion, Dijon mustard, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour the flavorful mixture over the sausage.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until firm and fully cooked.
