Reese's Puffs® Sticky Balls

Irresistible peanut butter cereal balls drizzled in rich chocolate for the ultimate sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 bag (10 oz) regular marshmallows
  • 1 box (14.25 oz) Reese's Puffs® cereal
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
Instructions:
  • Start by cutting a large 18x12-inch sheet of waxed paper and placing it on your work surface. Next, in a 4-quart Dutch oven, melt butter and marshmallows together over low heat, stirring often until the mixture is smooth. Once smooth, stir in the cereal until well combined. Spread this delicious cereal mixture onto the waxed paper and allow it to cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy your sweet and crispy treat!
  • Cut a 34x12-inch sheet of waxed paper and lay it on your work surface. Spray your hands lightly with cooking spray, then use them to shape the cereal mixture into approximately 2 1/2-inch balls.
  • Microwave chocolate chips and shortening in a small microwavable dish on High for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until smooth, stirring occasionally. Drizzle the melted chocolate over cereal balls. Allow the chocolate to set for at least 30 minutes before serving.
