Warm pear crisp with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla, perfect with ice cream for a cozy fall treat.
Ingredients:
6cups slicedpears
0.5 cupbutter, melted
2tablespoons maple syrup
2cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
1teaspoonground cinnamon
0.5 teaspoonground nutmeg
0.25 teaspoonvanilla extract
0.5 cupbutter, softened
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and give a gentle grease to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Arrange the pears evenly on the bottom of the baking dish and generously drizzle with warm melted butter and pure maple syrup.
Combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly, adding more flour if needed. Sprinkle over pears.
Bake until the pears are bubbling and the topping is crisp, approximately 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
