Grilled pork ribs rubbed with sweet and savory seasoning, tender and ideal for summer nights.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 racks pork spareribs
Instructions:
  • In a lidded container, mix together white sugar, brown sugar, salt, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until well blended. Shake until evenly combined.
  • Massage the rub onto both sides of each rib rack.
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Lay 1 rack of ribs, meaty-side down, on the center of the main grill rack and grill for 5 minutes. Move to the far side of the top grill rack, meaty-side up. Repeat with the remaining rib racks.
  • Arrange the rib racks on the top grill shelf with the meaty sides facing out and stacked in front of each other at an angle. Turn off the heat under the ribs and switch the other burner to low. Close the grill lid and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Rotate ribs so the meaty side is facing forward and the rack has reversed positions. Cook for 5 hours, flipping every 30 minutes, until crispy on the outside and tender inside. Slice into small chunks.
