Indulgent ricotta pie filling with creamy milk, eggs, and vanilla baked in a crust, topped with sweet strawberries.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup milk. Add ricotta, remaining 1 cup milk, eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Mix until well combined.
  • Gently transfer the flavorful filling into the waiting, golden pie crust.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and allow to cool.
