  • 500g beef mince
  • 70g (1 cup) fresh breadcrumbs, made from day-old bread
  • 1⁄250.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
  • 36.60 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 800g Golden Delight potatoes, peeled
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) extra virgin olive oil
  • 30.00 ml white wine vinegar
  • 5.90 gm Dijon mustard
  • 180g (3/4 cup) creme fraiche
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh mint
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh continental parsley
  • Bought tomato relish, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil and sauté brown onion for 3 minutes until golden. Allow to cool. In a bowl, combine the onion with mince, breadcrumbs, parsley, sauce, and egg. Season and mix with your hands until well combined. Shape the mixture into 8 patties, place on a tray, cover, and chill for 1 hour.
  • Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain, cool slightly, and chop. Mix oil, vinegar, and mustard in a bowl. Season, then add potatoes. Stir well. Let cool. Mix in creme fraiche, red onion, mint, and parsley. Enjoy!
  • Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and spray with oil. Cook half of the patties for 5 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining patties. Serve the patties with relish and potato salad.
