Simple garlic and rosemary leg of lamb recipe for a tender and flavorful holiday feast.
Ingredients:
  • 5 pounds leg of lamb
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
Instructions:
  • Start by collecting all the ingredients needed for the recipe, then preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Make deep slits every 3 to 4 inches on the top of the leg of lamb. Slide garlic slices into the slits. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Place the lamb on a roasting pan and nestle fresh rosemary sprigs underneath and on top of the meat for a flavorful touch.
  • Cook the lamb in the preheated oven for 1 3/4 to 2 hours, or until the center reaches at least 135 degrees F (57 degrees C) for medium-rare to medium doneness.
  • Tent the lamb with aluminum foil and allow it to rest for a minimum of 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with your favorite sides and savor every bite!
