Create a zesty homemade dip in 10 minutes with roasted peppers, garlic, and basil for irresistible flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 jar (7 or 7.25 oz) roasted red bell peppers, well drained, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (from 8-oz container)
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds, if desired
Instructions:
  • Combine roasted peppers, fragrant basil, and pungent garlic in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped. Add cream cheese and blend until smooth. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Sprinkle almonds on top of the dip right before serving.
