S'Mores cereal bars bursting with flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 18 whole graham crackers, crumbled into small pieces
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter OR margarine
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 6 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy
  • 1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
  • 0.33333334326744 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Mix together the crackers and cereal in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup and sugar, stirring occasionally for 4 to 5 minutes until it just starts to boil around the edges. Remove from heat and mix in butter, baking soda, and vanilla. Alternatively, you can microwave in a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl on high for about 2 minutes until it boils.
  • Drizzle syrup over cereal mix and mix well to fully coat. Transfer the mixture to a greased 13 x 9-inch pan and press down firmly. Arrange chocolate bars evenly on top, then sprinkle with marshmallows.
  • Place in a preheated 400°F oven for 5 to 8 minutes until marshmallows are puffed and lightly browned. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips after removing from the oven.
  • Chill for 1 hour until solid. Cut into squares and keep in a sealed container for up to 2 days.
