Saffron steamed rice

Ingredients:
  • 420g basmati rice
  • 2 pinches saffron
  • 20.00 gm butter
  • 50g almond
  • 40g currants
  • 125.00 ml coriander leaves
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine 2 1/2 cups of salted water, basmati rice, saffron, and butter. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
  • Add the almonds and currants, sprinkle with fresh coriander, and enjoy right away.
