Cheesy hashbrown casserole with creamy chicken soup, topped with buttery crackers - a comforting side dish.
Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) packagesfrozen cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 (10.5 ounce) canscream of chicken soup
1 (16 ounce) packageshreddedCheddar cheese
1pintsour cream
0.5 cupmeltedbutter
0.5 cupfinely choppedonion
0.5 teaspoongroundblack pepper
1sleeve buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a glass 9x13-inch baking pan.
Mix together the potatoes, cream of chicken soup, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Combine crushed crackers and melted butter in another bowl, then sprinkle over the potato mixture before baking.
Bake in the hot oven until golden brown and bubbling, for 60 to 90 minutes.
