Celebrate with this classic sangria for a taste of the lively Spanish vibe!
Ingredients:
  • 2 oranges
  • 107.50 gm caster sugar
  • 62.50 ml brandy
  • 750ml bottle shiraz
  • 1 small lemon, sliced, cut into small wedges
  • 1 pink lady apple, cored, diced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1.25 litre bottle soda water, chilled
  • Ice cubes, to serve
Instructions:
  • Juice one fresh, ripe orange. Thinly slice the remaining orange, then halve each slice.
  • In a large jug, mix together orange juice, sugar, brandy, and wine until sugar dissolves. Add orange, lemon, apple, and cinnamon. Cover and refrigerate overnight to enhance flavors.
  • Pour in the refreshing soda water and add in the ice. Give it a gentle stir. Serve immediately for ultimate enjoyment.
