Try this refreshing and simple sangria recipe, perfect for summer nights.
Ingredients:
  • 1 orange, quartered, each quarter thinly sliced crossways
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored, quartered, each quarter thinly sliced crossways
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) Cointreau
  • 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
  • 2 x 750ml bottles sparkling shiraz, chilled
  • 500ml (2 cups) chilled lemonade
  • 250.00 ml ice cubes, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine the orange, apple, Cointreau, and sugar in a large bowl. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
  • Combine the sparkling shiraz, lemonade, and ice cubes with the fruit mixture. Transfer the sangria to a jug using a ladle and distribute among 8 serving glasses. Serve promptly.
