Crispy Buffalo wings tossed in spicy butter sauce - a classic turned nationwide favorite. Master the recipe for irresistible wings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 gallon peanut oil
  • 25 chicken wings, segmented and patted dry with paper towels
  • 0.5 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon coarse-ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat oil in a deep-fryer or kettle to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) until hot and shimmering.
  • Carefully add wings one by one into the hot oil to prevent sticking. Fry the chicken wings in the preheated oil until golden and floating, around 15 minutes. Ensure they are cooked through by checking with a thermometer - it should read 180°F (82°C) when inserted into the thickest part of the wing.
  • Combine hot pepper sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl until well mixed. Toss in cooked wings to coat evenly, then serve on a platter.
