Indulge in rich and creamy East Coast crab soup.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.75 cup minced onion
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 pounds crabmeat, flaked
  • 3.5 cups milk
  • 0.67 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
  • In a stockpot over medium heat, melt butter and saute onions until translucent. Stir in flour and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. If needed, add a bit of milk to thin the mixture. Add crabmeat and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in milk and heavy cream, then heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
