Slow cooker Italian risotto with Arborio rice, chicken broth, garlic, wine, and olive oil for an effortless, flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3.75 cups chicken broth
  • 1.25 cups Arborio rice
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.66666668653488 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Combine the broth, rice, olive oil, wine, garlic, onion flakes, salt, and black pepper in a slow cooker, stirring until evenly mixed.
  • Cook on High until rice is tender and creamy, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, covered.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and cook without a lid until the cheese is melted, approximately for 15 minutes.
