Quick and irresistible snickerdoodle crème cookie sandwiches ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine sugar cookie mix, butter, egg, and cream of tartar in a medium bowl, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  • Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Form the dough into 36 (1-inch) balls, then coat them with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and place them on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake the cookies for 7 to 9 minutes, just until they are set. Keep a close eye on them to ensure they stay soft and not overdone.
  • Transfer the cookies from the baking sheet to a cooling rack. Allow them to cool fully for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Take one cooled cookie and generously spread frosting on the bottom. Place another cookie on top, with the bottom side facing down, and gently press the cookies together to create a delicious sandwich cookie.
