Cherry-infused vinegar elevates salad dressings with a tangy, vibrant red kick.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sour cherries, not pitted
  • 1 cup good quality white vinegar, or as needed
Instructions:
  • After washing and draining the cherries, spread them out on a metal baking sheet and allow them to sun-dry for 1 hour until completely dry.
  • Place the cherries in a clean jar with a plastic lid, sprinkle in the salt, and fill the jar with vinegar. Seal the jar tightly and let it sit for 3 to 4 weeks to develop flavor and color. Refrigerate before use.
