Spaghetti bolognaise

Affordable, flavorful, and easy: Spaghetti Bolognese is a beloved family favorite in Australia!
Ingredients:
  • 375g Spaghetti No.1
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, peeled, finely chopped
  • 500g 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 1 small red capsicum, seeded, finely chopped
  • 22.20 gm Italian Tomato Paste
  • 400g can Diced Tomatoes
  • 185ml beef stock
  • 20g parmesan
Instructions:
  • Boil spaghetti in a large saucepan of water following package instructions until al dente. Drain thoroughly.
  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Sauté onion and carrot for 3-4 mins until onion softens. Add mince, stirring to break up lumps, and cook for 5 mins until it changes color. Finally, add capsicum and garlic and cook for another 2 mins.
  • Combine the tomato paste, tomato, and stock in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve the sauce over spaghetti with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
