Delicious and lean spaghetti bolognese.
Ingredients:
  • 4.60 gm olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 zucchini, finely chopped
  • 400g extra lean beef mince
  • 700ml bottle Provvista Sugo Classica tomato pasta sauce
  • 400g spaghetti
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Add the onion, garlic, zucchini, and carrot. Cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes until the veggies are tender.
  • Turn up the heat to high and add the minced meat. Cook while stirring for 2-3 minutes until nicely browned. Pour in the pasta sauce and 1/4 cup (60ml) of water, then let it come to a gentle simmer. Lower the heat to low and let it simmer without a lid for 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente, then drain.
  • Combine the bolognese sauce with the spaghetti, mix thoroughly, and evenly distribute into serving bowls. Enjoy your meal!
