Elevate your bolognaise with a touch of wholegrain mustard for irresistibly delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
500g spaghetti
1 medium brown onion, finely chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
40.00 ml fresh rosemary leaves
23.40 gm wholegrain mustard
1/4 tsp crackedblack pepper
3 (about 150g) egg tomatoes, chopped
500g extra lean beef mince
250ml tomato pasta sauce
140g tomato paste
Crackedblack pepper, to serve
Fresh rosemary sprigs, extra (optional), to garnish
Instructions:
Boil spaghetti in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
In a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, sauté the onion, lemon juice, rosemary, garlic, mustard, and black pepper for about 5 minutes until the onion is soft. Stir occasionally.
Cook the tomatoes and beef mince in the pan for 10 minutes until the mince is cooked, stirring occasionally. Mix in the pasta sauce and tomato paste, then simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Drizzle the sauce over the spaghetti and enjoy with a sprinkle of pepper and optional garnish of more rosemary sprigs.
