Traditional lobster bisque, ready in 30 minutes, a family heirloom recipe bursting with rich seafood flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon celery salt
  • 4.5 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons minced onion
  • 3 cups cooked lobster meat, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 0.5 cup light cream
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour, salt, pepper, and celery salt, and stir until combined. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking to avoid lumps. Stir in chicken stock and cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until soup thickens.
  • Combine the onion and lobster in the pan and generously sprinkle with paprika. Sauté everything for an additional 10 minutes. Pour in the cream, warm it up, and savor the delicious dish.
