Creamy chive-filled artichoke hearts, buttered and baked with Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 (14 ounce) cans artichoke bottoms, drained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Gently melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then set it aside. Place Parmesan cheese in a shallow bowl and keep it ready.
  • Prepare artichoke bottoms by trimming a thin slice from the base to create a stable base, then using your thumb to create a small well in the center for the filling. Season the artichoke bottoms with lemon pepper and garlic salt.
  • In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, and chives until smooth. Fill each artichoke bottom with approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
  • Coat each filled artichoke bottom in melted butter, cover with Parmesan cheese, and transfer to the baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven until the artichokes are golden brown on top, approximately 45 minutes.
