Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Savory penne pasta with onions, garlic, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, feta, and a hint of spicy red pepper flakes.
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) packagepenne pasta
2tablespoons olive oil
0.5 cupchoppedonion
1clovegarlic, minced
3cups choppedtomatoes
1cupslicedfresh mushrooms
2cups spinach leaves, packed
salt and pepper to taste
1pinchred pepper flakes
8ounces feta cheese, crumbled
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of gently salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until perfectly al dente; then drain.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and garlic until golden brown. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 minutes until tomatoes are warm and spinach is wilted. Reduce heat to medium, stir in pasta and feta cheese, and cook until heated through.
