Delicious summer berry crisp- a perfect blend of raspberry and blueberry, baked to crispy perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups fresh raspberries
  • 3 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and generously spray an 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine ripe, juicy raspberries and blueberries with a touch of sweetness from 1/4 cup sugar in a large bowl. Transfer this vibrant mixture into a baking dish and dust with aromatic vanilla to enhance the flavors.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl. Use a pastry blender or 2 table knives to cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Mix in oats and sprinkle over the berry mixture.
  • Bake until the filling bubbles and the topping is golden brown. Serve while warm.
