Susan's Vinaigrette Coleslaw

Tangy homemade coleslaw with crisp cabbage and carrots, ready in 2 hours.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 medium carrots, shredded
Instructions:
  • Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, mustard, poppy seeds, pepper, salt, and hot sauce in a bowl and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl. Drizzle vinaigrette over and toss until evenly coated. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours before serving.
