Decadent cheesecake with pecan graham cracker crust, customizable with caramel or strawberries.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Combine graham crackers, pecans, and 1/3 cup of sugar in a bowl. Blend in softened margarine until well combined. Press mixture into a 10-inch springform pan. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 cups of sugar, eggs, and lemon juice with an electric mixer until fluffy. Spoon mixture over the crumbs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes until firm. Remove and cool for 30 minutes. Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl; spread over cheesecake. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
