Whip up a delicious meal using ready-made barbecue chicken in less than 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 40.00 ml char siu sauce (Chinese barbeque sauce)
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 20.00 gm water
  • 1 large BBQ chicken, cut into serving size pieces
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh coriander
  • 2 green onion, sliced on the diagonal
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a small bowl, combine char siu sauce, sesame oil, and water. Microwave on High for 30 seconds, stirring until the sauce is smooth and runny.
  • Lay chicken pieces on a spacious baking tray and generously brush with sauce to ensure both sides are coated. Bake for 5 minutes, then baste with more sauce and bake for another 5 minutes. Continue basting and baking for an additional 10 minutes until the skin is crispy and the sauce is sticky.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and green onion and pair with fragrant steamed jasmine rice.
