Oven-baked pork spareribs glazed in ketchup, BBQ sauce, and savory condiments for irresistible, flavorful ribs.
Ingredients:
  • 8 pounds pork spareribs
  • 3 cups ketchup, or to taste
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce, or to taste
  • 1 cup brown sugar, or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A1®), or to taste
  • 2.5 tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large stockpot, gently submerge the ribs with an ample amount of water. Heat over medium-high until boiling, then simmer for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Combine ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, steak sauce, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer and stir occasionally for 20 minutes until flavors meld.
  • After draining the ribs, slice between the bones. Transfer the ribs to a baking pan and generously coat with sauce, then cover with foil.
  • Cook in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until meat easily pulls away from the bone, approximately 30 minutes more. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches 145°F (63°C).
