Pair this refreshing side salad with grilled chicken yakitori skewers for the perfect summer meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 wombok (chinese) cabbage, shredded
  • 1 bunch radishes, finely sliced on mandolin
  • 5cm thumb ginger, julienned
  • 1 packet crunchy fried noodles
  • 2 avocado, halved and sliced
  • 62.50 ml nori threads
  • 6.00 gm white sesame seeds
  • 6.00 gm black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 bunch coriander, leaves only
  • 2cm thumb ginger, finely grated
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 24.00 gm white miso
  • 4.50 gm white sugar
  • 18.20 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Sea salt, to taste
Instructions:
  • Whisk together fresh ginger, zesty lime, savory miso, a hint of sweetness from sugar, and a blend of oils to create a flavorful dressing. Set aside for later use.
  • Combine the cabbage, radishes, ginger, and noodles in a large salad bowl. Add avocado and mix gently. Drizzle dressing over and toss gently to combine.
  • Sprinkle seaweed, sesame seeds, and cilantro over the salad.
