Try this mouthwatering Thai beef salad for a crowd-pleasing family meal.
Ingredients:
3beef sirloin steaks, trimmed
42.00 gm lime juice
24.40 gm fish sauce
1long red chilli, seeded and thinly sliced
8.00 gm brown sugar
125g cherry tomatoes, halved
125.00 ml mint leaves
82.50 ml coriander leaves
1Lebanese cucumber, thinly sliced
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
1. Preheat a stovetop grill over high heat.
2. Brush the steak lightly with oil and place it on the grill. Grill for 3 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved.
3. Remove the steak from the grill and keep it warm.
4. In a small bowl, mix lime juice, fish sauce, chili, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix cherry tomatoes, mint, coriander, cucumber, and onion. Drizzle with lime juice mixture and toss gently. Slice the steak and add to the salad, tossing until well coated. Serve promptly.
