Delicious apple crisp topped with rolled oats and nuts, perfect with ice cream and easy to clean up after.
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Aluminum Foil
  • 8 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9x2-inch baking dish with Reynolds Wrap Non-Stick Foil, making sure the dull side is facing up towards the food and the shiny side is facing the dish.
  • Evenly layer the apples in the dish before generously sprinkling them with a delightful mixture of cinnamon and sugar; then set aside.
  • Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, walnuts, and salt in a medium bowl. Blend in shortening until mixture is well incorporated. Sprinkle this delicious mixture over the apples.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream on top.
