Elevate canned mushrooms with a flavorful blend of balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce for a quick and delicious side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup diced red onion
  • 1.5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1.5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté mushrooms, onion, and garlic with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until mixture is reduced by 2/3, approximately 10 minutes. Sprinkle sugar, stir until dissolved, and continue cooking for 1 to 3 minutes.
